Oneness Blessing

“The Oneness Blessing appears to be transferred from one person to another, but that, according to Bhagavan, is only the appearance of it. “Deeksha is the phenomenon wherein the divine reaches out to man,” he says. “The person who is giving the Deeksha is making himself or herself available to the divine and becomes an instrument. There’s literally no role for the personal dimension. It depends upon how the divine wants to make use of that person; he or she merely becomes a conduit for it.” After attending the twenty-one-day Oneness Process in India, graduates are able to give the Blessing to others. But it is not a skill that is learned or something one gets good at. During the course, one is simply washed clean of oneself through experiencing and letting go of things that have been held from the past. After enough preparation, the Blessing can come through the one giving it; the giver has simply discovered how to be still and step out of the way. The grace that flows through the Blessing is timeless. We have all been touched by grace at one time or another in our lives, so this is not something new. Sometimes we recognize it, and sometimes we don’t. The Oneness Blessing is that same grace but with a tremendous focus and intent. It has direction and divine intelligence. It is the force of the divine, awakening humanity to our full potential—the next evolutionary leap we must now take together in order to enter the next phase of being alive.”
